GoTalk ADSL2+ Service Conditions
ADSL2+ broadband service:
ADSL2+ broadband can offer maximum speeds up to 20000 kbps / 800 kbps. Speeds above 8Mbps require network compatible ADSL2+ modem and filters. The minimum speed of an ADSL2+ broadband service is 1500 kbps. Actual speed will vary and is subject to various constrains including but not limited to distance from local exchange, quality of phone line, the number and type of other services using the line, the capacity of the uplink and customer’s modem/router. gotalk ADSL2+ Broadband services are available in many areas of Australia, excluding NT and TAS. For technical and commercial reasons not all homes can be connected to all gotalk service and technology will depend on customer’s location. gotalk ADSL2+ broadband service is available as a bundled product only and a specific complete home phone is required (line rental, local and long distance calls preselected to gotalk). All products must be connected in the same name and billing address.

Plan details: gotalk starter: monthly access fee $14.95 inclusive of GST, data allowance 300 MB + 600 MB (on and off peak), excess charges apply once download limits are reached, 10c per MB and capped at $20 then shaped; gotalk light5: monthly access fee $29.95 inclusive of GST, data allowance 3 GB + 6 GB (on and off peak), shaping applies; gotalk optimum: monthly access fee $49.95 inclusive of GST, data allowance 12 GB + 24 GB (on and off peak), shaping applies; gotalk expert: monthly access fee $64.95 inclusive of GST, data allowance 20GB + 40GB (on and off peak), shaping applies. All gotalk ADSL2+ plans offer 5 email addresses and 10MB web space. Static IP option is not available.

Download on-peak and off-peak times: Data allowance on gotalk ADSL2+ broadband plans is split for on and off peak. Off-peak time is between 1am and 6am AEST. On-peak time is between 6am and 1am AEST.

Connection shaping: all gotalk ADSL2+ plans, except for the starter plan $14.95, are shaped and no excess charges apply. The connection speed will be shaped to 64 kbps, when either of the download limits will be exceeded during both on-peak or off-peak times. The connection speed will be restored at the beginning of the new invoice run.

Charges: Minimum total cost over 12 months: gotalk ADSL2+ starter: $278.40; gotalk ADSL2+ light: $458.40; gotalk ADSL2+ optimum: $698.40; gotalk ADSL2+ expert: $878.40; including the setup fee of $99. Contract terms: all ADSL2+ plans are available at 12 and 24 month contract term. Setup fee of $99 applies to 12 month contract. Disconnection fee of $200 applies when service cancelled within contract term. Cancelling the specific home phone service will result in a surcharge of $30 applied to the ADSL2+ account. ADSL2+ required home phone service: ADSL2+ broadband must be bundled with go voice ADSL2+ home phone plan. Selecting any other gotalk home phone will result in a surcharge of $30 applied to the ADSL2+ gotalk
